Proper and fair pricing is probably the toughest part of a free lance nature photographer. Digital imaging, world wide web and competitive market have brought down the prices to sometimes unacceptable pricing expectations. Peter A.Dettling /Terra Magica believes, that a great photograph has it’s value and should never be undersold. A good image doesn’t come easy, there is hard work behind each and every image.
On the other hand tourism agencies, magazines etc. are usually working on a tight budgets and the market is full of good images. As mentioned in the first sentence, pricing isn’t easy. Below you’ll find some information on Peter A. Dettling/ Terra Magica pricing and availability. To determine fair prices (both for photographer and customer), Peter uses FotoQuote and other similar mediums to determine industry standards. Prices are negotiable.

Commercial / Editorial Assignment

Hourly rate: $ 100
Daily rate (8 hours) : $ 650
Weekly (7 consequtive shooting days) rate: $ 3’500
Monthly (30 consequtive shooting days) rate: $ 12’000
